Collaborations with nine years old of me.
As a designer, I have thought a lot about what to show when holding an exhibition in the future.
An interesting idea that came up in my mind was to give the opportunity to host an exhibition
to myself in the childhood. I would like to call this that is a kind of a collaboration with myself in the future and
‘another’ myself in the past, and also is a gift to give him. At first, I chose some of the drawings that I made
in the past, and then I added the illustration with well-matched stories on the old works.
예전부터 전시를 열게 된다면 어떤 주제로 작업을 해야할지 고민이 많았습니다. 그러다 어릴 적 ‘나'에게 전시를 열 수 있는
기회를 주자는 흥미로운 생각을 하게 되었습니다. 이 작업은 미래의 ‘나'과 과거의 어린 ‘나'에게 주는 선물이자 ‘나'와의 콜라보레이션
작업입니다. 지금껏 모아왔던 어릴 적 그린 그림들을 꺼내 그 중 몇 가지를 고른 뒤, 그림들과 어울리는 상황을 지금의
그림 스타일로 다시 위에 덧그려 완성한 작업입니다.
